Austro Control implements the European drone rules and maintains operator registration.
Regulation
EU member state. Regulations 2019/945 and 2019/947 apply directly, including the requirement for direct Remote ID.
- In mountainous terrain the mounting height matters more than anywhere: a unit on a high, clear position reaches a multiple of one in a valley.
- The temporary setup is up within an hour, which suits events that are themselves built in days.
- The interface is in English. We build a German interface on request.
