AEROTECT

Every Remote ID drone in view, and the pilot with it.

See a drone the moment it turns up over your site, and see where the pilot is standing. Both appear live on one map, so your security team knows where to go instead of scanning the sky. Rent it for an event, buy it for a site you watch all year.

Remote ID

live picture and alerts
15 km
open terrain, line of sight, omni
IP67
enclosure, PoE powered

15 km was measured in open terrain with line of sight, from an elevated position with an omnidirectional antenna. In practice it runs higher or lower: directional antennas have reached more than double, while buildings, a low mounting position or an aircraft that transmits weakly bring it down. How it works

From installation to alert in four steps

  1. 1

    Install

The DRID is mounted on a mast, roof or temporary structure. One PoE cable carries power and data. Where there is no network, the optional 4G module takes over.

  2. 2

    Receive

The receiver listens continuously on all four Remote ID transports. It transmits nothing itself, so it does not interfere with other systems on your site.

  3. 3

    Identify

Each signal is translated into a serial number, position, altitude, speed and the pilot's position. Everything appears live on the map in the AEROTECT platform.

  4. 4

    Act

Your team receives an alert as soon as a drone enters a zone. Because the pilot is on the map, security or police can go straight to the spot.

The device

AEROTECT DRID

One compact receiver, built for the outdoors. The DRID picks up all four Remote ID transports at once and sends everything to the platform over PoE or 4G. Several units link into a single coverage area.

Enclosure
IP67, suitable for permanent outdoor installation
Power
Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Connectivity
Ethernet over PoE, optional 4G module
Range urban
7.5 km, built-up area with omni antennas
Range rural
15 km, open terrain with line of sight, omni antennas
Optional
ADS-B module for manned and unmanned aviation

Three ways to deploy the DRID

Compare the options
  • Rent with installation

We deliver, install and test the units on site and collect them afterwards. During the deployment your own team works with the dashboard and the SMS alerts.

    Compare the options
  • Rent, self-operated

You receive the units with platform access and install them yourself. We assist remotely with placement and zones.

    Compare the options
  • Buy with platform subscription

Fixed units on your site, owned by you. The subscription covers the platform, updates and support.

AEROTECT platform

Everything on one map, for everyone on your team

Every DRID sends its observations to the AEROTECT platform. There you see drones and pilots live, define zones, receive alerts and retrieve the full history afterwards.

  • Live map with drone and pilot position
  • Zones with alerts by email, SMS or push
  • History and export per event or period
  • Multiple users with their own roles
  • SAPIENT-compliant API for integration with your control room
