AESA implements the European drone rules and maintains operator registration.

EU member state. Regulations 2019/945 and 2019/947 apply directly, including the requirement for direct Remote ID.
- For a solar park of a few hundred hectares one unit on a central elevated position is often enough, with 4G where there is no network.
- Enclosures run hot in a Spanish summer; the DRID is built for permanent outdoor mounting and reports its own temperature in the platform.
