Use case
Drone detection for correctional facilities
At a correctional facility the drone is not a curious visitor but a delivery service. Phones, SIM cards, drugs and sometimes weapons go over the wall, and the aircraft is gone again within a minute.
Why people fly above a site like this
- Delivery of contraband to an exercise yard or a roof, usually in the dark.
- Reconnaissance of the layout and of the moments when supervision is thin.
- Communication devices brought inside that remain a problem for months afterwards.
What a deployment looks like
- Number of units
- One unit on a high point inside the walls covers the complex and the immediate surroundings where a pilot could stand.
- Mounting
- Roof, watchtower or existing mast, permanent and over PoE.
- Deployment model
- Fully offline on a server inside your own network. No outbound connection, no access for us.
- Alerts
- SMS to whoever is on duty and an alert into your own control room system through the API.
Where the limit sits
This is the sector where flights are deliberate, and therefore the sector where an aircraft without Remote ID is most likely. Detection removes the known cases and produces evidence with time and position, but we do not sell it here as airtight.
Your situation not among them?
Describe your site and what you want to know. We will say honestly whether Remote ID detection is the right tool for it.
