Use case

Drone detection for data centres

A data centre has few people on site and a lot of value inside the fence. Security is built on fences, cameras and access control, and all three look at the ground.

Why people fly above a site like this

  • Reconnaissance of the layout: where the generators stand, how the cooling runs, where the supply route is.
  • Imagery for a tender or a report, produced without your knowledge.
  • Recording construction progress by a party without permission to do so.
  • At sites with an elevated threat picture: focused interest in a location designated as vital.

What a deployment looks like

Number of units
One unit on the roof typically covers the site and the immediate surroundings where a pilot could stand. On a campus with several halls, one per cluster.
Mounting
Roof or existing mast, powered over a single PoE cable. No batteries, no maintenance visits.
Deployment model
Fully offline on your own server is the starting point here: no outbound connection, no licence key.
Alerts
Through the API into your SOC or control room software, plus SMS to whoever is on duty.

Where the limit sits

Remote ID detection sees the aircraft that broadcast. A motivated party deliberately using an aircraft without the module will not appear. For a site with that threat picture this is one layer among several, and we would rather say so up front.

Your situation not among them?

Describe your site and what you want to know. We will say honestly whether Remote ID detection is the right tool for it.
